High-flying Harrogate Railway continued their great run of form by winning 2-0 at bottom-placed Ossett Albion to rise to eighth in the Evo Stik Division One North table.
Railway followed up their magnificent 5-0 over New Mills by scoring two second half goals to beat Albion.
Nathan Cartman delivered the first blow to Ossett with a header 12 minutes into the second half before Steve Bromley sealed the point late-on with a close range effort.
Ossett had Marc Thompson in their side after the midfielder returned to Dimple Wells this week from Farsley.
Farsley AFC remain in third, courtesy of a dramatic 2-1 win at Padiham.
Club captain Robbie O’Brien had given Farsley an early lead, but Padiham’s Ben Allen levelled for them close to half-time.
Farsley goalkeeper Ben Higginson then saved Allen’s second half penalty and the Villagers repaid him by winning the game with three minutes remaining – Lee Ellington the scorer.
Ossett Town moved back up the table with a 2-0 win at Kendal Town.
Jimmy Eyles put Ossett ahead early on before Chris Wood got their second goal on the hour.
Wakefield FC, whose manager Paul Lines is serving a six-match stadium ban, lost 2-1 at home to Burscough, who started the week in second-bottom.
Burscough won their second game of the week to move two places above Wakefield.
Lines’ assistant Steve Crilly took charge of the game and his side took the lead early on through Rob Bordman.
But, Burscough hit back through Luke Robinson before Ross Hardaker’s own goal won it for Burscough.

Scarborough boss Rudy Funk

Scarborough Athletic had goalkeeper Joe Cracknell to thank following the FA Trophy second qualifying round 0-0 with Cambridge City.
Cracknell made a string of superb saves to keep the Seadogs in the tie which now goes to a replay on Wednesday at Cambridge.
Scarborough did have chances of their own as Ryan Blott and in-form Lewis Clarkson came close to scoring.
Speaking to the Non-League Paper, Scarborough boss Rudy Funk said: “It was a great day at the office. We defended well and we’re happy with the clean sheet.
“Cambridge have got an exciting team which is reflected in their league position, so I’m proud of how we kept them at bay.”
David Holdsworth got his first win as Goole AFC manager as his side beat Chasetown 3-1 in the Division One South encounter.
After trailing 1-0, Goole hit back through William Johnston-Cole, James Cottingham and Ashley Jackson to earn the points.
Frickley Athletic lost 1-0 to Ilkeston Town in the Premier Division.
