Tom Dugdale celebrated his return to fitness by scoring the decisive goal for Albion Sports in their crazy 5-4 Premier Division victory over manager-less Liversedge.
Ben Grech-Brooksbank gave Liversedge the lead after the two minutes, but Albion responded by scoring five times before half-time.
Asif Hussain equalised from the penalty spot and brothers Delroy and Daniel Facey increased the score to 4-1 – Daniel scoring twice.
Dugdale then got on the score-sheet by getting the fifth goal in the 38th minute.
Liversedge, currently led by caretaker James Riordan, mounted a comeback – Gibril Bojang and former Farsley AFC defender Wes Milnes dragged the score to 5-3.
Brooksbank scored again in the last minute for Liversedge, who have admitted that they are in no rush to appoint Eric Gilchrist’s full-time successor.
Pickering Town started life since the sacking of Jimmy Reid by incredibly hammering high-flying Thackley 7-2.
Pickering are set to name Reid’s replacement tomorrow and his successor is likely to lose Arran Reid, Simon Sturdy, Dean Readman and Tommy Adams after their official Twitter page seemed to confirm their exits.
Adams scored twice in the demolition that also saw Joe Danby score a hat-trick and Josh Greening get one goal.
Nicky Matthews and striker David Brown scored for Thackley.
Due to Thackley’s poor result, Tadcaster Albion remain top of the table, despite drawing at 2-2 at Barton Town Old Boys – Carl Stewart and Nick Thompson found the net for Taddy.

Garforth Town returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory at Long Eaton United.
Gary Stohrer opened the scoring on his return from injury on 23 minutes and within 120 seconds, Sinmi Oyebanji had doubled the lead.
For the second time in a week, Athersley Recreation won by a heavy margin – the Rec thrashed strugglers Nostell Miners Welfare 6-0 at Crofton.
Robert Cartwright, Joe Thornton, Jason Bentley, Matthew Roberts, Tom Harban and Lee Bennett were on the score-sheet.
Brighouse Town celebrated a notable scalp in their pursuit for the title by beating fellow challenge Retford United 5-2.
Danny Nadiole, understood to have signed for Bradford Park Avenue, scored twice alongside solitary goals from Tom Matthews, Adam Wilson and Ryan Hall.
Bridlington Town survived a scare to win 4-2 at Winterton Rangers.
Winterton were leading 2-0 after 48 minutes until Bridlington came from behind to win.
An own goal set the wheels in motion and then Frank Belt, James Bennett and Joel Sutton scored to ensure the points.
AFC Emley maintained their promotion push with a 2-1 victory over Division One strugglers Louth Town.
Paul Sykes put Emley ahead before Louth equalised. Fortunately, Alex Hallam on hand to score the winner.
Pontefract Collieries conceded a late equaliser at Appleby Frodingham which saw them draw 2-2.
Ponte overturned an early deficit to go 2-1 up through Josh Corbett and Tom Agus. However, Ponte failed to hold on and a late goal cost them all three points.
Hall Road Rangers won 6-2 at Dinnington Town – Chris Adams got a hat-trick alongside strikes from Matthew Crane, Ben Silburn and Alex Knaggs.
Eccleshill United needed a last minute goal to salvage a 4-4 draw with strugglers Hallam.
Viktor Balis hit two for Eccleshill in a game that also saw Connor Shefte score. Tyler Tarango converted the equaliser in the 90th minute.
Knaresborough Town lost 2-1 at Grimsby Borough – former Manchester United youngster Colin Heath got Knaresborough’s goal.
Yorkshire Amateur earned their third consecutive league win by beating manager-less Rossington Main 2-0.
The Heard brothers Craig and Carl got a goal each.
