Ossett Town sign two as Gareth Grant leaves

Gareth Grant has left Evo Stik Division One North side Ossett Town, just four months into his time at Ingfield, writes James Grayson.
Grant, who made his name from his spell at Farsley Celtic and then the reformed club AFC, joined Ossett in the summer after failing to agree new terms with the Throstle Nest outfit.
The striker was a fans’ favourite at Farsley and is fondly remembered for a number of important goals he scored for them.
However, Grant was unable to weave his magic at Ossett and leaves after scoring a disappointing total of just two goals.
Joining Grant at the departure gate is Kyle Hawthorne, the striker who joined in September.
Hawthorne got on the score-sheet twice during the last two months, most importantly in the FA Cup second qualifying round replay at Warrington Town.
Ossett manager Craig Elliott has brought two players to the club as well this week.
Winger Shaquille Clarke-Adams, who Paul Lines revealed to Sports Performer had expressed a wish to leave Wakefield FC, is a new signing for Ossett.
Elliott has also added competition for goalkeeper Tom Taylor by recruiting Ilkeston stopper Rob Peet on a one-month-loan deal.
Taylor was the only goalkeeper at the club since Matt Convey left last month.
Peet and Clarke-Adams are in the squad that travels to Clitheroe tomorrow and they could be joined by a striker that Elliott hopes to sign in time.
