Scarborough Athletic continued their fantastic recent Evo Stik Division One South form with a clinical 4-2 victory at Market Drayton Town.
The win was Rudy Funk’s side’s fifth league victory in a row, but the Seadogs remain in mid-table with games in hand. Lethal striker Gary Bradshaw and in-form winger Tom Davie were the star men with two goals each.
Bradshaw gave the lead on 28 minutes with a stunning turn and finish before Athletic goalkeeper Jason White had to make a string of important saves to prevent Town equalising.
Scarborough rode the storm out and Davie sealed the points with two quick-fire goals just after half-time. Bradshaw added a fourth goal on 80 minutes. Two late strikes for Market made the score more respectable.
Goole drew 1-1 with Loughborough Dynamo at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds. Ryan Williams put Goole in front, but Loughborough came back strongly and even had a penalty saved by Goole goalkeeper Liam Flynn before they got the eventual equaliser.

In Division One North, Farsley AFC finally defeated bogey team Lancaster City in the 2-1 win at Throstle Nest. Farsley had failed to beat Lancaster in five attempts and the list looked like it was going to be extended when Ryan Winder gave Lancaster the lead.
However, club captain Robbie O’Brien levelled from the penalty spot midway through the second half. A draw seemed on the cards until Aiden Savory headed home from close range to secure Farsley a crucial victory in the race for the play-offs.
Paul Lines did not have a good return to the Wakefield FC dugout as his side were beaten 3-0 by Bamber Bridge.
Struggling Ossett Albion drew 0-0 at Burscough and remain bottom of the table with just nine points from 18 games.
In the Premier Division, Gavin Allott completed his hat-trick during injury-time to earn Frickley Athletic a dramatic 3-2 victory over Grantham Town.
Stocksbridge Park Steels lost 1-0 at home to AFC Fylde.
