Graham Nicholas’ Garforth Town completed an almost perfect November by winning 4-2 at Staveley Miners Welfare in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
With new signing Ryan Carr in their side, Garforth raced to a 3-0 lead by the 46th minute through Curtly Martin-Wyatt (2) and Andy Hawksworth’s (Hawksworth’s goal is above) goals.
Staveley pulled one goal back, but Logan McDaniel added a fourth for Garforth before a second Staveley consolation in the last minute.
Glasshoughton Welfare twice threw away a winning lead in the final ten minutes of the 3-3 draw with Maltby Main at Leeds Road.
Glasshoughton recovered from an early Maltby goal with Matt Donnelly’s equaliser on the stroke of half-time – his first goal for the club.
Dalton Harris then put Glasshoughton ahead on 78 minutes, but Maltby levelled with four minutes to go.
Welfare’s Striker Hilliard Serrao then looked to have stolen the points for Glasshoughton in the 89th minute.
However, Brian Cusworth salvaged a point for Maltby in the dying embers of the game.

Hilliard Serrao scored a late goal for Glasshoughton

Albion Sports lost 2-1 at Heanor Town – Daniel Facey was Albion’s goalscorer.

Bridlington Town held on to beat ten man Athersley Recreation 3-2 at Queensgate.
Craig Hogg, James Bennett and Joel Sutton had given Brid a seemingly unassailable 3-0 lead before Athersley mounted a late comeback through Craig Fletcher (2) in a game that was marred by crowd trouble.
Pickering Town embarrassingly thrashed Lincoln Moorlands Railway 11-0 – Joe Danby and Jimmy Beadle both got four, while Josh Greening chipped in with a hat-trick.

AFC Emley were denied a victory by a late goal in the 3-3 Division One stalemate with Bottesford Town at the Welfare Ground.
Steve Kenworthy’s first half goal was cancelled out by two Bottesford Town strikes before Antony Brown scored twice to put Emley ahead.
However, Bottesford levelled to leave Emley in 12th position.
Veteran defender Nigel Danby rolled back the years with a last minute winner for Pontefract Colleries in their 3-2 at Dinnington Town.
Former Farsley AFC striker Gareth Grant had given Ponte an early lead after just three minutes on his debut before Dinnington Town equalised.
Fellow debutant Kyle Hawthorne, who attracted interest from the likes of Brighouse Town and Garforth Town, then put Ponte in front again.
Dinnington levelled for a second time, but Danby had the last word.
Danny Gray hit a hat-trick as Selby Town maintained their promotion push with a 3-1 home win over Yorkshire Amateur.
In the battle of the promotion contenders, Shaw Lane Aquaforce beat Eccleshill United 2-0 – Chris Coy and Danny Barlow scored.
