A total of £200 during the waxing and it is hoped that a further £300 will be added to that when sponsorship money is collected.
Glasshoughton are holding a season-long fundraising campaign for Cystic Fibrosis that club physio Sam Crawford is leading.
Sam, 26, said: “The event was great fun.
“It was brilliant how the whole club came together, from the chairman Phil, Rob (Hunter), Mark (Smitheringale), all the players & their families.

“The players even donated part of their wages which is extremely generous of them.
“I can’t thank them enough for their efforts – especially Tim who had a whole eyebrow waxed off, Hirsty who had both arm pits done at the same time and the incredible effort by Liam Tuck.”
Further fundraisers are planned for later in the season including a charity football match.
