Neil Parsley says he is still waiting for the FA’s response to a complaint made about a referee in mid-October, writes James Grayson (Twitter: @jamesAgrayson).
The Farsley AFC chief reported the referee of the Evo Stik Division One North game at Northwich Victoria which finished 3-3.
Parsley’s complaint revolved around an incident that happened next to the visiting team’s dressing room during the half-time interval when the players made their way into tunnel.
Parsley said last night: “Do you know what, I was thinking about that today and I haven’t heard anything about it, it has all gone quiet.
“I’m going to be pursuing it because I want answers on their findings.
“It was six to eight weeks ago when it happened and since putting my report in I haven’t heard a word.”
In the controversial match Farsley were later reduced to eight men for the final ten minutes.
Ryan Serrant was dismissed for denying a goal-scoring opportunity and a penalty was awarded – the video of the game later proved that the challenge took place outside the area and that the player that Serrant fouled should have been ruled offside.
The decision sent the game spiralling out of control and either side of Northwich equalising from the penalty, Matt Dempsey and Simeon Bambrook were both sent off for foul and abusive language.
