Stopped by the weather: Garforth head coach Graham Nicholas had been hoping to see his team record back-to-back league wins

Garforth Town were said to be stunned at the late afternoon postponement of their Toolstation NCEL Premier Division game at Nostell Miners Welfare on Tuesday.
The match was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at 2.00pm. This is despite the glorious sunshine and lack of rainfall for at least 12 hours.
Nostell have already called a pitch inspection for 11am for their game with Staveley Miners Welfare tomorrow. However, on this occasion the forecast is not good.

Chris Wright, the former secretary of Garforth Town, appears to be the new manager of Toolstation NCEL Division One whipping boys Appleby Frodingham.
Scunthorpe-based Appleby have struggled in the NCEL ever since their arrival in 2008 and Wright could be the man set to preside over their return to the Central Midlands League.
Appleby are currently second bottom, but have recently received some heavy hammerings, including a 12-0 defeat to Shirebrook which has left them in a desperate situation at the foot of the table.
Wright, the under 13s coach for Hull-based Willerby Jags, has also had a short-lived spell as the head of youth development at Wakefield FC.
Wright, who has no semi-professional managerial experience, is set to take charge of Appleby’s trip to Yorkshire Amateur tomorrow.

Website providers Pitchero have taken a lot of criticism this week after their radical new design for club websites.
Pitchero are the providers for the majority of Non-League Football websites, but many webmasters are unhappy with the new layout.
The latest news section has moved from the top of the front page to the bottom, while photos on the homepage have become distorted due to the change of size.
The ‘upgrade’ could see clubs deserting Pitchero and using other providers such as Club Website and WordPress.
Lancaster City even took their website offline so they could repair the ‘damage’.
The Pitchero blog site was full of comments from people complaining. One poster described the update as “awful, truly awful”. The comments section was later closed.
