Looking up: Ossett Town captain Ryan Qualter hopes his side can record a fourth straight league win tomorrow

Ryan Qualter says Ossett Town are looking up the Evo Stik Division One North table, writes James Grayson (Twitter: @jamesAgrayson).
Ossett jumped from the lower reaches of the Division to the top half inside just seven days with three consecutive league wins, including the memorable triumph over previously unbeaten Curzon Ashton.
Town did endure a bad November which saw them suffer four straight defeats, but the Ossett captain Qualter claims that they were confident that luck would change.
Ossett host Northwich Victoria tomorrow and Quarter wants a fourth win on the bounce ahead of the busy Christmas schedule.
“We had a couple of bad results, we had four defeats in a row,” he said.
“But we were playing against the good teams like Bamber Bridge, Warrington and Darlington. I mean Darlington, I don’t know how they’re not winning the league by about 15 points.
“Then again, we dropped points at Wakefield, Radcliffe. These are teams we should be beating.
“We were pretty low in the table and that’s a position we’re not used to be in. Everyone stuck together and we weren’t getting at each other. We were playing well though, we just weren’t getting the results.
“But, now we have turned it round. We’re six undefeated and we have to keep that going up to the table.
“It is going to be tough game tomorrow because Northwich have been in good form. They’re around us in the league, but they possess a good wage budget so they will be a tough team to beat.
“It would be great to keep this run going into Christmas.”
