Former Doncaster Rovers striker Jason Price has left Selby Town and joined Shaw Lane Aquaforce
Veteran striker Jason Price has joined Toolstation NCEL Division One promotion hopefuls Shaw Lane Aquaforce.
The former Doncaster Rovers, Bradford City and Swansea City forward has been playing for Selby Town since the start of the season.
He has been playing key role in Selby’s revival which has seen them fly up the Division One table.
Ian Dring’s men had a chance of promotion until a three point deduction for fielding a suspended player back in October.
The loss of three points has effected ended their hopes of a return to the Premier Division.
The end of their promotion dream is understood to have compelled chairman Ralph Pearse to cut the playing budget.
