Farsley defender Aaron Hardy is a doubt for the trip to Cammell Laird

Neil Parsley is hoping the elements will be kind so his Farsley AFC can keep their good Evo Stik Division One North run going at Cammell Laird tomorrow.
Storms continue to batter the UK and matches are likely to be in doubt. Farsley are third in the table after four wins and a draw since the beginning of December and are just two points off second-placed Warrington Town.
Parsley said: “It’s not the best forecast again and their pitch does get heavy.
“It is a very difficult place to go with the surroundings and the fact Tony Sullivan always has his side set up well.
“It is a difficult game for us. We might have a slight problem with Aaron Hardy coming off against Ossett with a hamstring strain, but apart from that we have a clean bill of health.
He added: “I have a good squad and a good squad in depth. I have a squad for when things aren’t going so well for us, I can make substitutions that I feel can drag it back for us.
“I also have substitutes who can protect a lead as well. We trained on Monday after losing the game at Ramsbottom on Saturday to a postponement. The lads were tired.
“Harrogate Railway took a lot out of us. We were toeing towards the end of that game when Railway came strong at us.”
Farsley beat Ossett Albion 4-1 on New Year’s Day in a game that was in doubt at 1pm because of the heavy rain and Parsley thanked the ground staff.
“JP (chairman and grounds man John Palmer) knows this pitch better than anybody and one thing this pitch does do is drain really well,” he said.
“Apart from a few battle scars, it stood up really well.
“It was nice to get a game on when there were postponements up and down the country.”
