Calum Ward scored a hat-trick in a comeback game for Tadcaster Albion. Tadcaster beat Winterton 6-0.

Calum Ward marked his return to Tadcaster Albion in memorable fashion by scoring a hat-trick in the 6-0 thrashing of Toolstation NCEL Premier Division strugglers Winterton Rangers.
The victory takes second-placed Taddy’s goal tally for the last three matches to 20 and moves them one point behind leaders Barton Town Old Boys.
Tadcaster took the time in ensuring a third consecutive win. Danny Critchlow had given them a first half lead and it wasn’t until the 48th minute that Winterton began to fall apart.
Ward, who re-signed for Taddy on Thursday night after leaving Ossett Town, hit a 19 minute hat-trick which also saw Carl Stewart score during that period of play.
Denny Ingham put the icing on the cake with their sixth goal in the last minute. The win leaves Taddy full of confidence ahead of next Saturday’s huge clash with title rivals Brighouse Town – weather permitting.
Pickering Town put a massive dent in Worksop Parramore’s promotion rivals by beating the pre-season favourites 3-1.
Josh Greening and Jamie Patterson gave Pickering a 2-0 lead before Ryan Johnson pulled a goal back for Parramore.
Greening then sealed the win at the death.
In Division One, new signing Nash Connelly scored a late winner for Hemsworth Miners Welfare in their 2-1 success at Knaresborough Town.
Bryon Littlefair had opened the scoring direct from a corner for Knaresborough, but Nick Guest equalised and Hemsworth went onto pick up all three points.
In the Evo Stik Premier Division Frickley were beaten 2-0 by Ashton United and Stockbridge Park Steels lost 3-0 to Whitby Town.
Ossett Albion were the only Yorkshire side to play in Division One North and Richard Tracey’s side narrowly went down 1-0 at Lancaster City.
Scarborough Athletic held to beat Newcastle Town 2-1 and record their first Division One South win in three games.
Goole lost 3-0 to Coalville – a game that will be remembered for other reasons.
