Garforth Town’s Wheatley Park pitch is under-water
Garforth Town have been denied the chance to bounce from two defeats on the spin as their Toolstation NCEL League Cup third round tie with Knaresborough has been postponed.
Match referee Duncan Street inspected the Wheatley Park pitch this morning and deemed that it was waterlogged.
Nostell Miners Welfare also had their match with Selby Town postponed.
Brighouse Town v Long Eaton United and Pickering Town’s home game with Dronfield Town fell the same way.
Only one Division One fixtures have currently survived the heavy rain as Hall Road Rangers are still scheduled to face Pontefract Collieries.
