Former Scarborough Athletic assistant manager Darren France has joined the new look coaching staff at Ossett Town.
France has been appointed by John Reed who was handed the managerial reins at Ingfield this morning.
France will be alongside Reed and assistant manager Clive Freeman when they take charge for the first time at Ramsbottom United on Tuesday night.
France left Scarborough along with Reed in November having been Rudy Funk’s right-hand-man during the club’s NCEL Premier Division title-winning season.
He had been with the Seadogs since their formation in 2007 and he was also assistant to his late father Brian.
As a player, France played for North Ferriby United, Doncaster Rovers, Hull City and Farsley Celtic among others.
