Harrogate Railway’s wing wizard Rob Youhill is facing a spell on the side-lines after breaking his cheekbone.
Youhill was involved in a collision during Railway’s friendly with Bradford (Park Avenue) at Station View last night.
Youhill has been to see a specialist today and has another appointment with a doctor again on Monday to determine whether he needs an operation.
The news comes as a blow to Railway who are set to return to Evo Stik Division One North action on Saturday when Radcliffe Borough visit Station View after almost four weeks without a match.
Youhill has been a star player for Railway this season and has earned plaudits for his performances and manager Billy Miller said: “He’s at home and in good spirits. It’s a big loss for the club in the short term, but we have enough depth to cover the loss.”
