Nicky Deverdics has signed for Tadcaster and replaces Joel Dixon (pictured)
Tadcaster Albion have been boosted by the return of Joel Dixon and the recruitment of new signing midfielder Nicky Deverdics.
Former Newcaste United youngster Deverdics has played for Gretna, Barnet, Blyth Spartans and Alfreton Town as well Bi/Bolungarvik in Iceland and TB/Tvoroyri in the Faroe Islands.
Deverdics’ signing has been described as a “massive boost to everyone involved” at Tadcaster.
He is expected to make his debut tonight in the Toolstation NCEL League Cup third round match at Eccleshill United, alongside Dixon.
Dixon left last week to start a professional trial in Norway with Ullensaker Kisa IL, but has now returned and is set to appear at Eccleshill.
