Ossett Albion have been granted a reprieve from relegation from the Evo Stik Division One North.
Richard Tracey’s Ossett finished second-bottom of the league, but because of Cammell Laird and Wakefield’s forced exits, the FA have rubber-stamped Ossett’s survival.
The decision was made today as the FA met to discuss the structure of the Non-League pyramid for 2014-15.
Albion will compete in an exciting Division next season which now includes Scarborough Athletic.
Scarborough will move into the North from the South Division – a move that the Seadogs fans will applaud.
Northern League champions Spennymoor are another addition.
Frickley Athletic have also been reprieved in the Premier Division.
