Scarborough Athletic defender Andy Milne has committed himself to Toolstation NCEL Premier Division promotion-chasers Tadcaster Albion for next season.
The news is a huge statement of intent from Tadcaster.
Highly-rated Milne, a long-term target for Farsley AFC, has chosen to leave Queensgate after two seasons under Rudy Funk.
A former Leeds United youth team player, Milne appeared twice for Darlington in the Football League before featuring for Barrow, Gainsborough Trinity, Altrincham and FC Halifax Town.
He was a star player for Ossett Town during Phil Sharpe’s reign. In 2012, he moved to Scarborough and was a key player as they won the Premier Division title – something that Tadcaster are aiming to win next May.
Although he has agreed terms, Milne will have to wait until next month to sign NCEL forms.
