Eccleshill United have acted quickly to replace departed head coach Lee Duxbury.
Last season’s Garforth Town reserve team boss Mark Tinker is the permanent successor to Duxbury who has quit for personal reasons.
Duxbury had led Eccleshill on a magical journey during his only year in charge. His side incredibly beat Harrogate Town to win the West Riding County Cup final at Valley Parade.
They then lost on penalties in the NCEL League Cup final at the same venue.
Tinker’s reign at the helm begins with a Toolstation NCEL Division One home game with Louth Town on August 9th.
The new Eccleshill chief will be assisted by former Cheltenham Town and Barnsley forward Martin Devaney.
Devaney, who most recently played for Worcester City, will be also registered as a player.
