Shaw Lane Aquaforce manager Craig Elliott’s squad is almost complete after two more new signings from the Evo Stik League were confirmed.
Centre-back Sam Denton, who has been playing their recent pre-season matches, joins from Frickley Athletic.
Elliott has also made the notable signing of versatile Ossett Albion captain Stefan Holt.
Elliott told Non League Yorkshire: “Sam brings a lot of experience.
“Let’s not forget that he also won this Division with Scarborough.
“He brings competition at the back where we were a bit light.
“Stefan is someone who I have been after for 18 months.
“He has always done well in a struggling Ossett Albion side. I tried to sign him for Ossett Town last year, but he was on contract.”
Elliott is also understood to be on the verge of signing a striker which should complete his squad for the new Toolstation NCEL Premier Division season.
The Shaw Lane boss has lost Adam Lee before he even played a game as the forward has had a “change of heart” and has re-signed for Armthorpe Welfare.
Aquaforce kick off the campaign at Tadcaster Albion on Saturday.
