Other results of note from the NCEL were Bridlington Town’s dramatic 2-1 win at Athersley Recreation and Handsworth Parramore’s 2-1 victory over Barton Town Old Boys.
In Division One, Penistone Church played the majority of their 1-0 win over Worsbrough Bridge with ten men.
Goalkeeper Rob Poulter was sent off early on, but, Mark Crossfield scored early on in the second half and Penistone held on to record another win.
