Darren Hepworth admits that there is “no pressure” on his side when they attempt to pull off a giant-killing act tomorrow.
Emley visit Evo Stik Division One North side Northwich Victoria in the FA Cup Preliminary Round.
Northwich are two leagues higher than Emley, but, Hepworth insists his team are going to give it their best shot.
“Obviously there is a lot of history in terms of both clubs,” he said.
“They both have similar stories in terms of starting again and that being said, it adds a little bit extra spice to the game.
“There is a bit of nostalgia attached to it which is really nice because that’s what the cup is all about.
“We did our homework on Ashton and we have done it on Northwich.
“It is a marquee competition, but, it is about good habits. I said to the players against Ashton that the game was important, not just because of the financial reasons.
“It is about carrying on the good form and high confidence we are building here and taking it into the league.
“We’re going there as underdogs and that’s a tag we quite like. There’s no pressure on us on the day, but we’ll go and enjoy ourselves – it will be a good day out.”
