Struggling Frickley Athletic have added veteran Simon Baldry ahead of tonight’s Evo Stik Premier Division home game with Matlock Town.
Baldry, who has retired a couple of times, most recently played for Shaw Lane Aquaforce.
Baldry played a few times in the early stages of Craig Elliott’s reign, but, left the club in mid-March.
Baldry is best known for his playing days at Huddersfield Town. In the semi-professional game, the winger has had memorable spells with Guiseley and Ossett Town.
Frickley are yet to win this season in the league and only have two points to their name after five games.
