Lamin Colley appears to have played his last game for Harrogate Railway as the striker is set to sign for Bradford (Park Avenue) this week.
Avenue chief John Deacey approached the young player earlier this week and Miller said: “They have spoken to him and made an initial offer to him.
“The rest is up to them now.
“He’s a good kid and he’s got to give it a go so he goes with our blessing.
“We will see what happens and see if it works out for him.
“If it doesn’t work for him, he knows where we are.”
Former Farsley AFC player Colley, who has played for the England Colleges team, has been one of Railway’s star performers this season.
He has scored five times and provided many assists – his final act appears to have been his header in the narrow 3-2 FA Cup defeat at Colwyn Bay yesterday.
“I had Lammy at 17 at Liversedge (on loan from Farsley) when he was really raw,” Miller said.
“What he brings to us is what Malachi (Farquarson) will do for us in holding the ball up really well which gives us the opportunity to attack high up the pitch.
“He brings the best out of Carts (Nathan Cartman) and I think Carts and Lammy formed a formidable partnership up-top.
“They always looking for each other and I just hope Malachi can do that with Carts.”
