AFC Emley have taken a blow today as key player Max Leonard has moved to Frickley Athletic.
The former Huddersfield Town youngster has been an integral part of Emley’s excellent start to the Toolstation NCEL Division One season.
He was their top goal-scorer with eight goals and he bowed out on Saturday with a goal in the 4-0 victory over Rossington Main.
Leonard joins a Frickley Athletic side enjoying a renaissance in the Evo Stik Premier Division.
Karl Rose’s men have been in good form and recently climbed the table – a far cry from the first eight games which could be classed as a disastrous set of results.
