Dave Anderson has got Brad Ricketts back in his Barton Town Old Boys squad
Brad Ricketts has returned to Barton Town Old Boys after a short spell with Ossett Town.
Ricketts will go straight into the squad to play Staveley Miners Welfare on Wednesday night in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
Manager Dave Anderson said: “I am really delighted that Brad has decided to come back and join us , we are in the middle of a great run at the moment and apart from our current league form we are still in the FA Vase, league and County cup and my concern is the depth of the squad with a lot to play for.
“Brad was instrumental last season for us helping us finish runners up and will be a welcome boost to the squad.
“Louis Kirk and Rikki Paylor have been instrumental for us this season so far but both have been playing whilst carrying knocks.
“We have also been playing certain players out of position in certain games as our squad has become stretched with injuries so Brad will give this area much needed competition and cover as we look to kick on for the rest of the season.”
