Harrogate Railway won’t go into their Evo Stik Division One North clash with Droylsden looking for revenge, Billy Miller has said.
Railway were beaten 6-1 at Droylsden back in August, but that defeat has been forgotten about since.
Harrogate have signed former Harrogate Town midfielder Luke Dean this week and Miller said: “We’ll approach the game like we do any other game.
“We drew a line under the Droylsden game pretty much straightaway. It was probably one of the worst performances of the season so far.
“I know we scored there, but we got a lot of luck with the goal. I think we are in a better position now and I’m hoping we can give account of ourselves.”
Miller remains happy with Rail’s position in the league, but wants to see a good return from the next two games.
“We’re always said that is a point a game and we say that the league is as good as it is ever going to be,” he added.
“There’s no point in feeling sorry for ourselves. We need pick up the points as they come along and that we give a great account of ourselves game after game.
“There is no respite. We have Droylsden tomorrow, Clitheroe on Tuesday night.
“We have two great games where we need to say ‘look we we need to be picking up a minimum of two points if not three points from the two.”
