Bradford (Park Avenue) have signed Garforth Town midfielder Jay Davis.
Davis scored five times in 13 appearances for Garforth after signing after impressing in pre-season.
Davis has been on Avenue’s radar for a few weeks after John Deacey declared an interest in him after a good display in a friendly between Avenue and HT Sports, one of Leeds’ most successful Sunday League teams.
Deacey waited until a few days ago to get his signature as the attacker was unable to play due to a three-match suspension.
Davis was serving the ban for his red card for throwing the ball at an assistant referee in Garforth’s 4-0 defeat at Handsworth Parramore.
