Handsworth Parramore have signed Stocksbridge Park Steels striker Nathan Joynes
Handsworth Parramore have pulled off a coup by signing Stocksbridge Park Steels goal machine Nathan Joynes.
Parramore have described the signing as the “end of a long pursuit”.
Joynes has been Stocksbridge’s top goal-scorer for the last two seasons and he recently scored a hat-trick in their 3-3 draw with Sutton Coldfield Town.
Parramore chief Peter Dufffield said: “It’s a great signing for us.
“Nathan is a proven goalscorer with a great desire, he will help our young forward line and give us firepower, this is s fantastic signing for the club.”
Duffield says he hasn’t given up on winning the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title and the signing of Joynes gives them real hope of climbing back up the table.
The striker is in line to make his debut against in-form Cleethorpes Town at Sandy Lane on Saturday.
Parramore have also signed Belper Town midfielder Gareth Davies.
