Duncan Bray claims November is likely to have a “decisive” say on which way Pontefract Collieries’ season goes.
Fourth-placed Ponte have five more Toolstation NCEL Division One games to play during November – including tomorrow’s trip to Knaresborough Town.
Joint manager Bray expects the month to prove pivotal to their promotion aspirations.
“Up until the last month, it has been really hectic because we have had so many players coming in and out with injury,” he said.
“We have just got a settled squad over the last five games and we have put in some good performances.
“I think there are five or six teams that are going to be battling it out.
“There’ll us, Emley, Clipstone, Hemsworth, maybe Eccleshill and one other.
“We have another six games in this month and you’ll see where we are at the end of the month and that will determine how we’re going to do.
“We have a really tough month because we have back-to-back games.
“It is good because it is better than training.
“It’s going to be a decisive month.”
