Gary Allanson is confident he will get to finally deploy his game-plan to enable Bridlington Town to combat the strengths of high-flying Shaw Lane Aquaforce tomorrow.
Allanson had the plans in place for the postponed Toolstation NCEL Premier Division last weekend, but he will get a second chance to use them tomorrow at Queensgate.
Allanson, who says the game will be “definatly on”, said: “It is going to be a massive test because they are flying.
“They are a very strong side and are second in the league. They had a great result in the FA Vase so their confidence is sky high.
“I think they wanted the game on last week more than what we did.
“We’re not daft as we have had them watched and we look at their results and we know that they are prolific at going forward.
“We had a plan last week which have been waiting to use for tomorrow.”
Bridlington are currently tenth in the Premier Division table after a positive start to the season with a new look side – primarily made up of young players.
Allanson added: “We’ve doing quite well.
“We got beat by Heanor at home which was really unlucky because they scored a last minute goal.
“We beat Thackley two weeks ago so everything is going alright.
“We’ve had suspensions and injuries and they are coming back from them now.
“The young lads are still getting used to this level so things are failing into place nicely.
“Everything in fine and it is a happy camp at the minute.”
