Handsworth Parramore have signed versatile player Simon Harrison from Frickley Athletic in time for the local derby with Parkgate tomorrow.
Harrison has played for a number of clubs including Matlock Town, Ilkeston Town, Harrogate Town, Retford United and Goole.
He was with Parramore boss Peter Duffield at Belper until a recent move to Frickley.
Harrison told Handsworth’s official website: “I’m delighted to be here as I know the club has ambition and wants to go places and that excites me.
“I know Mick & Duff’s well, so teaming up with those again was a big part in my decision (to join).
“If anyone can take a team up it’s those two. It won’t take them long to get it right.
“I defiantly want to be part of it. I have won promotion two times myself and I would love to do it again here.”
