Shaw Lane Aquaforce’s FA Vase dream is on hold – at least until Tuesday.
Volunteers have been working all week to make the Shaw Lane pitch playable for the third round tie with Shildon today.
However, a referee deemed it unplayable last night and the match was postponed at 6pm.
Shaw Lane will try again on Tuesday night to stage the encounter against the bookies’ favourite to win entire competition.
