Garforth Town manager Graham Nicholas has praised winger Sinmi Oyebanji for his excellent recent form.
Oyebanji has scored four times in three games and has cemented his place as a fans’ favourite at Wheatley Park.
Nicholas said: “He’s been brilliant.
“He’s on fire, the lad. He’s getting in good positions and he’s full of confidence.
“He was in and out last year, but this is this season and he’s doing really well.”
Garforth have had a good year overall. Town have beaten some good opposition and will play Harrogate Town in the West Riding County Cup semi-finals.
Looking back at the year, Nicholas said: “I think the highlight is getting to the semi-finals of the County Cup.
“We have played some good football (this season) and it was nice to beat Heanor 5-1 in the League Cup.
“From an individual match, Heanor was definitely the highlight for me because it was a brilliant performance.
“But, overall, getting to the semi-finals of the County is the highlight and we now have to focus on that.”
