Harrogate Railway stretched their winning run to eight games with a 4-1 win at Brighouse Town after an inspired second half performance in the Evo Stik Division One North.
The weather conditions was challenging for both sides and Railway goalkeeper Tom Goodwin was needed to make a couple of good saves.
Brighouse broke the deadlock with their talisman Tom Matthews scoring with a curling strike from the edge of the penalty area.
Railway had to be patient with their response and it was Adam Baker, who produced the goods with a moment of sheer brilliance on the hour mark.
The winger bent a superb effort from distance into the top corner which Brighouse goalkeeper Jack Cookson could only stand and admire.

Harrogate sensed another win was coming. Two consecutive corners finished with Matt Heath scoring his first goal for Railway with a bullet header.
Harrogate were out of sight by the closing stages. Sam Hewitt’s late challenge on former Brighouse player Nathan Cartman saw a penalty awarded and the Evo Stik’s top goalscorer got his obligatory goal.
Cartman turned provider in the last minute by passing to Jesus Martin-Farina, who was able to score his first goal since his return to Station View.
Railway manager Billy Miller said: “It was a great response from the lads after going 1-0 down.
“I think we knew we would be up against it in the first half because of the conditions. The wind was blowing, the rain was coming down.
“We said all along that if we could get to half-time and be in it in the second half, we would create chances.
“Although we did have a sticky patch after Baker equalised for us, once as the second one went in and then the penalty, the result was inevitable”
