Curtis Woodhouse appears to have solved his striker problem with the capture of Ossett Albion attacker Danny South.

Woodhouse appeared on Talksport yesterday to claim that he only had ten players available along with no strikers for his side’s trip to Brigg Town in the Evo Stik Division One South on Boxing Day.

South only recently signed for Ossett from Frickley Athletic.

Woodhouse lost the services of Jordan Thewlis to Harrogate Town on Saturday. Andy Gascoigne, who has been linked with a move to Harrogate, is suspended anyway.

A player who has definitely left is midfielder Kieran McCaffrey. He has gone back to Scarborough Athletic.
