Josh Greenhalgh was on the scoresheet on his return to Garforth Town, who went down 3-2 losers at Parkgate.
The win was Parkgate’s second on the spin and the three points moved Steve Adam’s men further away from the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division drop zone.
The home side broke the deadlock on the half hour mark with Sam Fould scored with a powerful strike on his return to the Parkgate side after a long absence.
The lead was soon doubled as Adam Stapleford-Jones was hauled to the ground with a penalty being awarded.
Scott Lowe sent Ben Hunter the wrong way from the spot.
Garforth found themselves further in trouble when Stapleford-Jones got his goal just after the hour mark.
However, the visitors persevered and mounted a comeback.
Midfielder Greenhalgh, signed back at Wheatley Park from Albion Sports this week, got the first one back and then Parkgate were rocking as Mangham scored Garforth’s second.
Parkgate stood firm as Garforth threw the proverbial kitchen sink.
Even goalkeeper Hunter was up in the Parkgate box for a free kick late in the game as Garforth chased an equaliser.
