Steve Woolley is Handsworth Parramore’s latest new signing.

Woolley left Goole AFC after the mass exodus last week and joined Handsworth in time to play and score in the Ambers’ 3-0 win at Toolstation NCEL Premier Division strugglers Glasshoughton Welfare.

Woolley is described as a “legend” by followers of Sheffield FC having made over 200 appearances for the Dronfield-based club.

Peter Duffield told Handsworth’s official website: “He’s a great player with a wonderful attitude.

“He has real quality on the ball and is a fantastic addition to the club.”

Handsworth are next in action when they will host Heanor Town at Sandy Lane in ten days’ time.
