Tom Corner has joined Evo Stik Division One North play-offs chasers Scarborough Athletic after leaving North Ferriby United.
The striker leaves Ferriby after just six months at the Conference North club.
Seadogs joint boss Bryan Hughes said: “Tom has played at Grimsby Town and Bradford Park Avenue, so he knows this level and what it takes.
“I worked with Tom during my time at Grimsby, and he’s a hard worker and can act as the focal point of your attacking play with his height and strength
“After losing the services of Alex Peterson recently, we needed some reinforcement up front, so to bring in Tom is a big boost for us going forward.”
Corner, who is only 22, came on the scene with an excellent run in the Ossett Albion team three years ago.
His performances persuaded Bradford (Park Avenue) to purchase him and he was an Avenue player until the end of last season.
Corner is expected to make his Scarborough debut against Warrington Town on Saturday at Queensgate.
