Alan Semley celebrated his first win as Goole AFC manager after his side won 2-1 at Evo Stik Division One South strugglers Market Drayton Town.
New look Goole had to come from behind to snatch the late victory having trailed to a second half Aidan Haughton goal.
Oliver Steeple, who only signed from Stocksbridge this week, scored the equaliser on his debut and it was left to Derry Robson to hit the winner.
In Division One North, Brighouse Town are nearer to reaching their target after winning 3-1 at Radcliffe Borough.
Danny Hull, Ryan Hall and an own goal secured the win.
Despite James Riley’s double strike, Farsley AFC went down 3-2 at Salford City.
Ossett Albion lost 1-0 at Lancaster City, while Scarborough were 4-2 losers to Warrington Town.
Frickley Athletic were beaten 3-1 at home to Barwell.
