Tadcaster Albion’s FA Vase adventure will continue away at either Chadderton or Rudy Funk’s AFC Mansfield.
The fifth round draw was made today at midday and Taddy will have to wait until tomorrow night’s replay is played to find out their next opponents.
Funk, the former Scarborough Athletic manager, has openly said that he is aiming to reach Wembley – just like Paul Marshall.
Tadcaster’s team features several players from Funk’s 2013 Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title-winning squad such as Paddy Miller, David Brown and Andy Milne.
Tadcaster, the third favourites with one bookmaker, beat Brocton 3-2 at i2i Stadium during a tense game on Saturday in which Calum Ward scored the second half winner.
Albion are in the fifth round for only the second time in their long history having reached the same stage in the late 1970s.
If Shaw Lane Aquaforce get past Walsall Wood, they will face Flackwell Heath, who are based in High Wycombe, at home.
The ties are due to be played on February 7th.
