Farsley AFC’s Gibraltar international Adam Priestley has rejected a move to an unnamed club.
Priestley, who has scored 17 goals this season, was subject to a seven days’ notice approach from a team.
The striker turned down the offer so he could remain at Throstle Nest – the place he has played his football for three seasons with a short spell at Guiseley in the middle.
Priestley told Farsley’s official website: “The support I have had for everyone at the club made this an easy decision for me.
“The backing that I have had since I’ve started representing Gibraltar has been great and I really love the club.
“At this time I don’t want to be playing anywhere else. I’ve had a good run in the team and the management have been supportive throughout. Hopefully I can repay everyone with continuing to score the goals to get Farsley where they want to be.”
Priestley and Farsley are scheduled to travel to Mossley in the Evo Stik Division One North on Saturday.
