Handsworth Parramore picked up from where they left off after returning to action from a month off by beating Maltby Main 5-1 at Sandy Lane.
Parramore have been one of the worst affected clubs by the weather, but the break has had no impact and the victory keeps them in contention for a top five Toolstation NCEL Premier Division finish.
Handsworth were straight out of the blocks with captain Steve Woolley blazing over from close range.
The home side were soon in front as Luke Fletcher was to score from a rebound.
Inside the next 60 seconds, Handsworth were heading out of sight when Bruno Holden scored.
Maltby persevered and Sam Forster’s excellent run ended with a powerful strike into the top corner – halving the deficit.
