There was more joy for Paul Lines last night after Nostell Miners Welfare reached the semi-finals of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup.
The 3-1 win over Rossington Main booked an away tie with either Maltby Main, Athersley Rec or Penistone Church.
Lines had to change his squad around because of cup rules and he had to rely on the Bordman brothers Dave and Rob to secure their progress.
Rossington went ahead at the start of the second half when experienced striker Lee Holmes scored with a smart finish.
Rob provided the assist for the equaliser by crossing for his brother to score from close range.
Dave rounded the Rossington goalkeeper for the second goal on 82 minutes and his predatory striker brother completed the win with a powerful strike in the dying minutes.
The victory came three days after Lines got his first win as Nostell manager in the 1-0 success over Athersley Rec.
Rob hit the winner as the result lifted them off-the-bottom of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division table.
