Highly-rated young goalkeeper Paul Hagreen has signed for Garforth Town.
Hagreen leaves Knaresborough Town and could ironically make his Garforth debut against his old club Glasshoughton Welfare tomorrow afternoon.
Hagreen won a lot of plaudits for his performances at Glasshoughton last season and he moved to join former Leeds Road boss Rob Hunter at Knaresbrough last summer.
Garforth manager Graham Nicholas has tried to sign Hagreen before. During Nicholas’ first pre-season in charge at Garforth, Hagreen played in a couple of friendlies for the Miners until Hunter persuaded him to join Glasshoughton.
In other news, Luke Herriott has left Handsworth and joined Maltby, while Oliver Grady has aalso joined Hallam from Handsworth.
