Hall Road Rangers striker Jordan Cox has signed dual registration with Humber Premier League outfit Reckitts.
His new side are currently top of the league and are eager to add to their record seven titles.
Cox will be looking to get straight on the scoreboard as the Humber Premier League title race hots up, with Hull United among the many contenders, who also play at Dene Park.
The 19 year-old said: “After so many bad injuries I’m just going to go to Reckitts to enjoy my football, I’m looking really forward to playing and hopefully that will be regular if the gaffer picks me.
“In terms of leading them to the title I’ll just try my best when I play and hopefully score some goals and if that leads up further up the table that’s best for us all.”
Hall Road manager Martin Thacker added: “I think it is great for Jordan to get some match fitness after being injured for 2 months. He’s always welcome in the group and hopefully when he’s match fit he will come back and push for start in the team which I can’t guarantee him now.
“He’s showed great maturity in the way he’s handled himself, and he’s not happy not playing and anyone who is unhappy should find a happier place to play. Credit to him for acknowledging he’s not at the fitness levels he needs to be at to have an impact in the NCEL.”
Cox is expected to make his debut for Reckitts on Saturday against East Riding Rangers.
