Wiltshire is preparing for an invasion of over 300 Tadcaster Albion supporters for the FA Vase quarter-final tie with Highworth Town.
The team are going down to Swindon today, but a string of coaches will head there tomorrow morning as Tad aim to reach the semi-finals for the first time.
Highworth are eighth in the Hellenic Premier Division and were beaten 4-1 at home to Flackworth Heath – the team who lost to Shaw Lane in the last round – on Saturday.
Paul Marshall said: “I think there is excitement and it will be great because the TSC are coming out in their hundreds, not just 50 people.
“Hundreds of people are coming down so it is going to be a right laugh for everybody going down.
“We going down today and prepare for it correctly.
“It is a long way so we don’t want to be going down Saturday on a six-hour coach trip and playing the biggest game in the club’s history.”
Influential left-back Paddy Miller is suspended for the game after his red card in the 3-0 win at AFC Mansfield in the last round.
He’ll be watching on from the side-lines and he said: ‘I’ll be there cheering the boys on.
“It seems that way (that I’ll be going as cheerleader).
“I think I’ll be a member of the TSC, the Tadcaster Supporters’ Club, for the day.”
