Paul Haigh has returned from his break and joined Stocksbridge Park Steels.
Haigh has been subject to intense interest since his departure from Shaw Lane Aquaforce in November, but he has resisted all approaches until now.
The midfielder, who has also played for Pontefract Collieries, is in line to make his debut at Chasetown today in the Evo Stik Division One South.
Haigh is one of three signings that Chris Hilton has made.
Their excellent relationship with Sheffield United has been used to good effect again with defender Jason Paling arriving on loan from Bramall Lane.
He has also addressed the goalkeeping problem by bringing in Rotherham United stopper Pete Denton.
Sam Andrew, who only recently returned to Bracken Moor, could be side-lined for up to a month.
