Steve Bromley’s last minute goal snatched a 2-1 victory for Harrogate Railway at Evo Stik Division One North relegation candidates New Mills.
The result does Ossett’s Town and Albion a big favour and gives Railway an excellent chance of overhauling their highest ever league position finish.
Harrogate had to battle for the win as James Moss gave New Mills a first half lead.
Malachi Farqharson equalised midway through the second half and substitute Bromley struck the winner with a controlled finish.
Harrogate Railway assistant manager Lee Ashforth:
“We ended up digging out a good result.
“New Mills played really well and full credit to them. Everyone looks at the league table and looks at their position thinks it should be an easy game for us.
“Anybody who does that are sadly mistaken. Every single team in this league are difficult to beat and we have proved that by only drawing at Padiham and losing to Prescot and having to scape a win here.”
