Ossett Albion registered their second double of the season on Saturday with a 3 – 2 victory in Cumbria over Kendal Town.
The win ensures there is further breathing space between Albion and the Evo Stik Division One North drop zone.
Kendal took the lead on 19 minutes through leading scorer Jordan Connerton, but goals in four minutes gave Albion a 2-1 half time lead.
Nicky Matthews got the first on 36 minutes, which was followed by a Connor Bower penalty four minutes later.
In the second half Albion continued to play well, but it was Kendal who got the equaliser on 55 minutes from Jack Kelleher.
Albion weren’t to be denied though and Nicky Matthews got his second and Albion’s winner on 83 minutes.
